Hurricane Katrina

In 2005 Hurricane Katrina had its first landfall on my home town, Buras.

We all know the devastation wrought by Katrina. Recovery is on-going. You can still help by contacting the New Orleans chapter of Habitat for Humanity. There is a group from Maine planning a work/play trip in May 2009. Please check out the Vacation with a Purpose website.
